The surface of woven strapping is significantly smoother than that of Hot Melt or composite straps. Therefore, phosphated metal buckles are specifically designed to be used with woven strapping.
They are also commonly used with disposable lashing straps, in which case a reinforced version is recommended.
You can source our phosphated metal buckles for all standard strap dimensions, from 9 mm to 40 mm.
